An essential oil is a natural product that is derived from the distillation or another form of removal of oils from a plant or another living source. When they are extracted, this concentrated product that offers you all of the benefits that are available through the plant but in a more convenient way to use it. These oils can be used in a wide variety of ways, including enjoying the aroma of them. What many people don’t realize is the fact that aromatherapy essential oils offer benefits to the skin and other parts of the body in unique ways.

The beauty of using aromatherapy essential oils is that they can be used directly on your skin (after being diluted first). It is important to dilute essential oils before applying them to the skin. This is because the oils are very concentrated and as such can easily irritate delicate skin. Also, your body has to eliminate these oils through your kidneys and liver.

If the person is elderly, use half the amount of essential oil (only 6 drops) in the carrier oil. Or you can make your own custom designed body massage oil for relaxation or therapeutic effects.

The use of aromatherapy essential oils can benefit those who have problems with their skin or who would like to have more youthful skin. TUsed topically, it may produce even more benefits. Make sure that you are not using the wrong type of essential oil or one that could actually cause harm to the skin if it is applied directly. Sometimes it is necessary to use a carrier oil, such as coconut oil. It allows for better dispersement of the essential oil without having too much of the oil put in one area.
